Salient features of the AIIA
Learning Environment:
- We put our best efforts to create and maintain high standard
of learning environment. Our class rooms are well furnished to
facilitate learning in comfortable and relaxed conditions.
Teaching Methodology:-
The courses are carefully structured mix of classrooms
sessions and computer based training. Theoretical aspects guided
by the instructors help students test the concept that has been
explained in the class rooms. Personalized instructions are
provided to each and every student with an aim that not a single
student remains behind. The students’ progress is continuously
monitored through a series of internal exams and assignments.
Faculty:- The Most Important Component – The Instructor
Our teachers are selected for their ability to teach and
demonstrate because a good faculty is the most important and
decisive feature of any training institute. Our faculties are
professional with ‘meritorious track’ records and years of
‘hand-on’ experience in their selected fields. The institute
invites leading and experienced persons from respective fields
to enable the best possible exposure of the industry to the
students.
Course
Material:-
Each Student who enrolls in the institute, is provided with
study material essential for learning there subject of his/her
choice. The material contains illustrations, statistics, images
and various other things which make the subject interesting. We
try to bring in proficiency in each and every subject not only
through class room explanations but also by providing printed
notes crafted in such a way that the students find it easy to
grasp and remember.
English
Communication and Personality Development:-
Beside that the institute holds English communication and
personality development sessions at reasonable cost to
interested students. In today’s life effective communication has
become an important and useful role to climb the ladder of
success in every field of life. Our aim is to help in the all
round development of our students. Special career oriented
presentations, group discussions and other soft skills are
taught to students. We also provide audio and video
presentations that can help students in their job prospects.
Attendance:-
Minimum stipulated attendance of 85% is essential to be
eligible to appear for the exam, as the courses are such that
regular attendance is essential.
Uniform:-
Students are to wear the only uniform provided by the
institute. Students are to ensure that the uniform is clean &
presentable.
Identity Card:-
The Identity Card will be issued by the institute to each
student. They must always carry the same with them and must
present it for inspection whenever asked. Candidates may mot be
allowed to attend the classes or enter the institute premises
without I-Card.
Awards
of Certificate:-
To qualify for the certificate candidates must obtain at least
60% marks in aggregate. A certificate with “Distinction” will be
awarded to the candidates who obtain 90% in their first attempt
in each paper.
Candidates who fail in one or more papers in first attempt are
allowed to make a second attempt for each failed paper, within
the notified period of enrolment. The marks obtained by the
candidates in the following tests comprise the internal
assignment –
(i) Study paper / Project Report/Class assignment/Practical
(ii) Term Tests
(iii) Case work
(iv) Viva Voice as per the scheme constitute for the internal
assignment.
Class
Tests are compulsory:
- During the course there will be two tests; preferably one in
each term. Each test will have maximum 100 marks.
Candidate must obtain a minimum of 50% marks in each paper and
in internal assignments separately, and 60% in aggregate.
Scholarships & Fee Reductions:-
JES & AIIA have instituted a number of awards and scholarships
for rewarding and recognizing meritorious students / individuals
in different fields.
1) JES scholarships for the meritorious students. A 10%
reduction in fee for any student who has scored more than 75%
marks in Xth and XIIth.
2) JES Social Scholarships for SC/ST students.
A 5% Reduction in fee will be offered to all the SC/ST
students.
Vacation and Holidays:-
All gazetted holidays observed by the central and state Govts.
are observed by the institute. The holidays (if any) will be
intimated through a circular on the notice board.
General
Rules and Regulations:-
Medium of Instructions: - Medium of Instruction in the
institute is English & Hindi. The applicant should ensure their
comfort with the language before applying for the course.
Classes:-
Classes are conducted for 5 days a week at the according to
the time-table fixed by the institute. The duration of the
lectures is flexible. Minimum is of one and a half hour which
can be extended maximum up to two hours, keeping in view the
special requirement of the batch.
Facilities:-
Library: The Institute maintains a library with study material
pertaining to various courses. It also subscribes to a number of
periodicals and newspapers. All students are to be the members
of library. Candidates can issue or replace any book after
showing Identity Card of the institute. If a student loses or
defaces the books/other material, he/she has to either replace
it at his/her own cost or pay double the price of the book.
Hostel
Facility:
Separate hostel facility for boys and girls can be arranged on
request at reasonable cost for the outstation students.
Placement Services:-
The AIIA renders all possible assistance to candidates in
career guidance and placement with companies/organizations. But
it will be only after successful completion and passing of the
respective courses. The notification regarding vacancies will be
displayed on the notice board of the AIIA, besides the
intimation in the respective classes. Grab the opportunity to
